Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610 - a special edition concert by Choir of the Earth and Fiori Musicali
Experience a groundbreaking digital performance of Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610. This special edition, created by Choir of the Earth in collaboration with Fiori Musicali, blends Fiori's 2011 live recording from Christ Church Oxford with thousands of individually recorded vocal tracks from our global online choir.
Led by Musical Director Ben England, this project marks the first time Monteverdi's iconic work has been taught and performed entirely online, with over 8,000 contributions from singers across 40 countries. This special edition concert also includes a unique a cappella rendition of Nisi Dominus by the global singers of Choir of the Earth.
Haydn's "Nelson" Mass Concert Performance
On Friday 27 September 2024 at 17:00 UK time, Choir of the Earth is thrilled to invite you to enjoy our concert performance of Joseph Haydn’s “Nelson” Mass (Missa in Angustiis), recorded by international singers around the world, accompanied by Richard Gowers on organ, vocal solos by Fieri Consort, and conducted by Ben England, with video by Marc Siese.

Mini Monteverdi Concert 3
Current COTE Members are warmly invited to join Ben on Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 18:30 UK Time for the unofficial unveiling of our final six choral movements of Claudio Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers, as recorded by Choir of the Earth in association with Fiori Musicali. The performance will include Lauda Jerusalem, Ave Maris Stella, Magnificat, Gloria Patri, Sicut Erat and Et Misericordia.

Bergenphilive livestream: Bergen Philharmonic presents Beethoven's Violin Concerto & Brahms’ Requiem conducted by Edward Gardner
On 22 March 2024 at 19:30 CET (18:30 GMT), Bergenphilive will livestream Bergen Philharmonic orchestra & chorus’ concert of Beethoven's Violin Concerto & Brahms’ Requiem, live from the Grieghallen in Bergen, Norway. The recordings captured at this performance will form the basis of the learning and recording resources for Choir of the Earth’s Brahms’ Requiem course starting on Monday 8 April 2024.
Mozart Requiem: an informal come and sing concert recorded in Dublin on 11 March 2024
On Monday 11 March 2024, lots of wonderful choral singers met in St Ann’s Church in Dublin, Ireland, for a Mozart Requiem ‘come and sing’ event, run by Choir of the Earth in association with Labrador Events.
Conducted by our very own Ben England BEM, a day of workshops culminated in an informal concert performance featuring fantastic local musicians, including:

Brahms Requiem conducted by Harry Bradford concert rerun | COTE members watch party
On Monday 8 April 2024, Choir of the Earth will launch our next course to learn, record and create a hybrid live/digital performance of Brahms’ Requiem with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir. In anticipation of this, please enjoy one of our earliest concerts: Brahms’ Requiem, performed by The Self-Isolation Choir (now Choir of the Earth), conducted by Harry Bradford.

On Monday 11 March 2024, lots of wonderful choral singers will meet in St Ann’s Church in Dublin, Ireland, for a Mozart Requiem ‘come and sing’ event, led by our very own Ben England BEM.
We had hoped to stream this live but unfortunately due to technical difficulties this will not be possible. We will confirm in due course when the recording will be shown. We apologise for any disappointment.

On Saturday 9 March 2024, lots of wonderful choral singers will meet in St John’s Church in Edinburgh, Scotland, for a Mozart Requiem ‘come and sing’ event, led by Ben England BEM. It will culminate in an informal concert performance featuring local soloists.

Join us for a watch party of one our most unique and fun concerts… the so-called “Four Bens” performance of Mozart’s marvellous Requiem! Thoroughly channeling his inner Wolfgang - both musically and in terms of coiffure - Ben England BEM conducts the full Requiem in split screen, conducting each voice part separately.
Choir of the Earth presents: Summer School 2023 - A Concert Performance
Members of Choir of the Earth met online in June, July and August 2023 for our popular Summer School, where they learned a diverse range of pieces with Musical Director, Ben England BEM. Singers recorded their individual performances at home, which were then mixed by our amazing audio engineers. These international performances have been accompanied by stunning imagery to help tell the story of the pieces. This online concert will be hosted and conducted by Ben England BEM and absolutely everybody is very welcome to attend.

The music varies widely in style and period, from baroque Bach to contemporary Cage. The concert also include two very special pieces that have been composed for Choir of the Earth from Martín Palmeri and Patrick Hawes.
It is free to attend our concert, although donations big and small are always very welcome to help Choir of the Earth reach more singers worldwide who could benefit from the choral opportunities and community we provide.

Choir of the Earth presents: Bohemian Rhapsody - A Concert Performance
Members of Choir of the Earth met online in June, July and August 2023 for our popular Summer School, at which we learned a diverse range of pieces with Musical Director, Ben England BEM. One of these pieces was Queen's rock hit Bohemian Rhapsody. This is a fantastic choral arrangement for mixed voice choir by Philip Lawson.
Our singers recorded themselves singing this piece at home, mostly using their smartphones, and then our amazing audio team mixed their voices in the recording studio to produce the final choral performance.
At this stream, Ben will go live to premiere the final track, firstly conducting the piece live with the score onscreen for those singing along at home, and then playing our new music video, featuring imagery to complement the Choir’s wonderful recording.

Members of Choir of the Earth met online in June, July and August 2023 for our popular Summer School, at which we learned a diverse range of pieces with Musical Director, Ben England BEM. One of these pieces was feelgood classic Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life from Monty Python's The Life Of Brian. This is a cheery choral arrangement for mixed voice choir by Paul Ayres.
Our singers recorded themselves singing this piece at home, mostly using their smartphones, and then our amazing audio team mixed their voices in the recording studio to produce the final choral performance.

Vivaldi’s Dixit Dominus | A concert performance by Choir of the Earth conducted live by Ben England
On Friday 1 December 2023 at 17:00 UK time, Choir of the Earth Members and guests will hear the international Choir's final performance of Vivaldi's Dixit Dominus for the first time. This stream will be presented live by Musical Director Ben England, who will conduct on-screen for those singing along at home.
