Vocalise will be the finale concert of St George’s Festival of Voice 2025

Bringing St George’s Festival of Voice to a radiant close, Vocalise features a summery programme of choral music performed by Choir of the Earth - a trailblazing international ensemble known for its innovative digital performances - and the acclaimed Fitzhardinge Consort, the West of England’s leading professional vocal ensemble.

The centrepiece is the world premiere of Vocalise by Eric Wetherell, arranged for choir and saxophone by Ben England, with soloist Ben Waghorn, and the evening also includes music by Ola Gjeilo and Eleanor Daley.

The Fitzhardinge Consort

Fitzhardinge’s contribution will include a range of music from across the centuries, featuring To Be Sung of a Summer Night on the Water by Frederick Delius, Faire is the Heaven by William Harris, and Eric Whitacre’s witty Animal Crackers.
