Around Sound: The Elements of Music
Join award-winning educator Ben England BEM for the latest in his hit Around Sound lecture series: The Elements of Music. This fascinating eight-part course explores the essential components that shape all music - Pitch, Harmony, Tonality, Rhythm, Form/Structure, Timbre, Texture, and Dynamics. An 80-minute YouTube lecture and Zoom discussion will take place each Tuesday at 19:00 BST (UK time) from 22 April to 17 June 2025 (with a two-week break in late May). Book now!

We are pleased to invite you to join us on our thrilling Come and Sing Haydn’s “Nelson” Mass trip to Vienna and Eisenstadt, from 23-26 September 2025! This will be a truly unforgettable journey walking in Papa Haydn’s footsteps, filled with wonderful music and the chance to perform in the historic Esterházy Palace!

Course Launch: Quartet of Kyries
Join Choir of the Earth on Monday 24 March 2025 for the public launch of our latest choral adventure, Quartet of Kyries. At this course, which will run until 1 May 2025, Musical Director Ben England will guide you through learning, singing and recording four magnificent Kyries by Palestrina, Rheinberger, Schubert and Mozart. The course launch session is free and open to all as a taster of the music we will learn and the resources we offer.

Choir of the Earth Christmas Concert 2024: J.S. Bach's Magnificat
On Friday 20 December 2024 at 19:00 GMT, join Choir of the Earth for our 2024 Christmas Concert. Between September and November 2024, our global singers united to learn and record J.S. Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610 - a special edition concert by Choir of the Earth and Fiori Musicali
Experience a groundbreaking digital performance of Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610. This special edition, created by Choir of the Earth in collaboration with Fiori Musicali, blends Fiori's 2011 live recording from Christ Church Oxford with thousands of individually recorded vocal tracks from our global online choir.
Led by Musical Director Ben England, this project marks the first time Monteverdi's iconic work has been taught and performed entirely online, with over 8,000 contributions from singers across 40 countries. This special edition concert also includes a unique a cappella rendition of Nisi Dominus by the global singers of Choir of the Earth.

Come and Sing Evensong in Finland
Come and sing with Choir of the Earth’s marvellous Musical Director Ben England BEN and Tapiola Chamber Choir at the Olari Church in Espoo near Helsinki on 24 August 2024. Sing pieces from our August Summer School and learn others in workshops on the day, then perform at a special Evensong service with a Finnish twist. End the day at an informal reception and kantele workshop in central Helsinki.
