On Thursday 10 June, The Self-Isolation Choir (SIC) will be truly honoured to present Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with its performance of the late Prince Philip’s favourite hymn, ‘Eternal Father, Strong To Save’, to mark what would have been his 100th birthday.

SIC has announced an exciting new opera project, involving Donald Palumbo, the revered Chorus Master of The Metropolitan Opera in New York.

The Self-Isolation Choir is honoured to partner with The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) to perform the world premiere of its 2021 Music Sunday anthem, God Of All Creation by Chris Totney.

The Self-Isolation Choir is inviting members of the public from all around the world to take part in a free singing project and will present the final recording to Her Majesty The Queen in memory of HRH Prince Philip on 10th June, when he would have been 100 years old.

The world premiere of the Self-Isolation Choir’s production of Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” by Gustav Mahler will take place on 14 November 2020 at 19:30 GMT.⁣

The Self-Isolation Choir is honoured to work with English composer Patrick Hawes on our July Summer School course, where we will learn and record Quanta Qualia from his album, Blue In Blue.

The Self-Isolation Choir presents a new ‘Requiems at Home’ series of online choral courses - learn, sing and record Requiems by Faure, Brahms, Durufle, Verdi and Mozart from August 2020 into early 2021.
