Self-Isolation Choir to premiere Mahler 2 lockdown performance with Orchestra for the Earth

The world premiere of the Self-Isolation Choir’s production of Symphony No. 2 “Resurrection” by Gustav Mahler will take place on 14 November 2020 at 19:30 GMT.⁣

⁣Conducted by the talented John Warner and featuring his orchestra, Orchestra for the Earth, it is sure to be spectacular. This performance of the final movement of Mahler’s Second Symphony includes every voice and instrument recorded in isolation - nobody met in its production.

We are thrilled that this performance will also feature soprano Dima Bawab and mezzo-soprano Carla López-Speziale, plus a special welcome by President of the Mahler Foundation Marina Mahler, Founder of SIC Mark Strachan, and Founder of Orchestra for the Earth and conductor John Warner.

The concert is available to watch for free, with a suggested donation of 5 pounds to The Mahler Foundation.

Join us live this weekend or later when it suits you best.
