Join us this May for Come And Sing A Capella Wonders, an fantastic touring one-day workshop led by our award-winning conductor Ben England BEM. These events offers a rare opportunity to delve into some of the most sublime works in the vocal canon, including the haunting beauty of Allegri’s Miserere, the ethereal textures of Stanford’s Bluebird, and the moving harmonies of Bob Chilcott’s MLK and Tallis’ If Ye Love Me.

Supported by professional soprano soloists to soar through those iconic high notes, singers of all backgrounds will spend the day refining their technique and capturing the essence of these "A Capella Wonders" in a collaborative, professional environment.

Available at three fantastic locations — York, Warrington, and Wimbledon — each full-day workshop provides an immersive escape into the world of unaccompanied song. Whether you are joining us at St Olave's, the Church of the Ascension, or St John The Baptist, you can expect a day filled with expert tuition, musical discovery, and the unparalleled thrill of a massed choir in perfect harmony.

1. Comprehensive Digital Preparation The journey begins the moment you book. To ensure you feel confident on the day, you will receive a digital resource pack including:

  • Digital Scores: We provide digital copies of the Allegri, Tallis, and Stanford scores. These can be printed at home or brought to the venue on a tablet device.

    • Note: Due to copyright, singers are required to purchase their own physical copy of Bob Chilcott’s MLK.

  • Expert Video Tuition: Access to Choir of the Earth’s legendary teaching videos, featuring hours of note-by-note guidance from Ben England BEM.

  • Professional Rehearsal Tracks: High-quality tracks featuring the professional singers of the Fieri Consort, with your specific voice part highlighted.

2. A Day of Choral Mastery Under the direction of Ben England BEM, you will delve into the technical and emotional heart of our repertoire. You will be supported by a professional pianist and our guest soprano soloists, focusing on the intricate textures of the Allegri Miserere and other masterpieces. Our events team will be on hand throughout the day to ensure a smooth, friendly, and social experience.

3. The Afternoon Showcase The day concludes with an informal concert performance. This is a wonderful opportunity to share the day's hard work with friends and family, who are invited to attend free of charge.
