Join our exciting new Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem course with the Bergen Philharmonic!

We're thrilled to announce an extraordinary opportunity for choral enthusiasts to be part of a unique performance of Johannes Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem alongside the renowned Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir!

This collaboration builds on our previous successful project, Delius' A Mass Of Life, and promises to be even more exceptional, as we will leverage everything we've learned from our previous project to create the best possible resources for this exciting endeavour.

The Bergen Philharmonic’s live performance of the Requiem will take place on 21-22 March 2024 at the Grieghallen, conducted by the esteemed Edward Gardner and featuring solos by soprano Johanna Wallroth and bass-baritone Brian Mulligan.

These performances will be captured with state-of-the-art technology, including headset mics on key choir members in the Grieghallen. These high-fidelity recordings will form the basis of our learning, recording, and performance resources. Participants will benefit from 'voice-louder' parts and conducting videos created from the actual choir’s performance, ensuring an immersive and authentic learning experience.

Our marvellous Musical Director, Ben England BEM, will guide you through the Requiem starting with our course launch on Monday 8 April 2024, at 17:00 UK time. This launch is open to everyone and free to attend, offering a taste of what we provide and how it all works. Join us for the course launch at: https://youtu.be/DR9rXQM6KmQ.
