Quanta Qualia tops the chart at 2024 Hall of Fame

Choir of the Earth is delighted to unveil the results of our very own Hall of Fame 2024, counting down the 30 most popular tracks recorded by Choir of the Earth, as voted by our international choral community.

On Thursday 28 March 2024, we were thrilled to unveil the results of our Hall of Fame 2024, counting down the 30 most popular tracks as recorded - and voted for - by our international choral community. During an engaging YouTube stream our marvellous Musical Director, Ben England BEM, went live for over three hours to reveal this year’s chart.

The diverse 2024 Top 30 spans a wide range of musical styles and eras, from timeless classical pieces to rocking contemporary pieces. Presented in a countdown format, the top 30 entries illustrate the rich diversity and broad appeal of choral music and showcases the versatility of Choir of the Earth:

During the Hall of Fame 2024 stream, we were delighted to feature special messages from prominent composers Philip Lawson and Patrick Hawes, whose works charted in the top 3 places. These messages added a personal touch to the celebration, sharing the composers' joy and pride in being part of Choir of the Earth's vibrant legacy.

We were pleased to announce the release of a double Hall of Fame 2024 CD, featuring these pieces in the finest audio quality. This collection not only encapsulates choral excellence but also serves as a testament to the enduring power of community and music.

A range of exclusive merchandise has also been released and is available to purchase on Choir of the Earth’s Zazzle Store.

Ben was also thrilled to announce Quanta Qualia 3. This will be an opportunity for even more members of our community to participate in recording this beloved piece for a third rendition. Further details will follow in due course.
