As is always the case at Choir of the Earth, everyone is very welcome to attend any and all rehearsals, regardless of voice part, so whether you are an experienced bass, want to give it a go, or you’re just curious, come and join the fun!
This week we will be learning and singing Sanctus - a short movement from Joseph Haydn’s Harmoniemesse ("Harmony Mass"), our current course. The score will be shown on-screen, but if you would like to follow along on a separate device or print it out, please click here to download the PDF file.
Our rehearsals are usually live, but this week they have been pre-recorded especially for our taster week by our Musical Director, Ben England BEM, who is on tour this week with our come and sing events. However, the text chat will be live and as vibrant as always, with our friendly team and fantastic members from around the world. They would love to welcome you, share their experiences, and answer any questions you might have about online choral singing in general, or Choir of the Earth in particular.
If you can’t make a session live, please don’t worry - like all our rehearsals, these sessions will be available ‘on demand’ by clicking on the same link any time after the premiere. Simply return to the video when it suits you best.
