Earth Choir Academy Launches Crowdfunder for the Ultimate Messiah Learning Tracks
Earth Choir Academy has launched a Crowdfunder campaign to support the creation of high-quality learning tracks for its upcoming Messiah course and new choral resource library.
These tracks will not only benefit singers around the world as they prepare to sing Handel’s Messiah with the Academy's online choir, Choir of the Earth, but will also become a permanent resource in the new Choir of the Earth Library, ensuring the best possible learning resources for this choral mainstay are accessible to future generations of choral singers around the world.
Creating professional learning tracks is a significant undertaking. These tracks, which guide singers through their parts with expert precision, require extensive time, resources, and experienced, professional choral singers to develop. By supporting this Crowdfunder, contributors will help fund their creation, making it possible for singers everywhere – whether experienced or new to Messiah – to learn and enjoy this masterpiece with confidence, learning alongside the fantastic Fieri Consort.
Beyond this project, the learning tracks will form part of our new Choir of the Earth Library - an initiative designed to make the highest quality choral music resources available to singers worldwide. This means every contribution will have a lasting impact far beyond this course alone.
As an special thank-you, supporters who donate £50 or more will be invited to an exclusive online pre-course event with Musical Director Ben England BEM. Ben will give an in-depth talk about Handel, Messiah, and the significance of this project, before previewing the newly created guide tracks that these generous supporters’ contributions helped to produce.
This Crowdfunding initiative aims to ensure that Messiah – and the joy of singing it – remains accessible to all, and everyone can take part. Any contribution, big or small, will make a difference. Supporters can visit the Crowdfunder page to donate and help spread the word by sharing the campaign with friends, family, and fellow music lovers.
