Join us to learn the entire MESSIAH online, in association with ChoraLine.

On 31st May 2020, The Self-Isolation Choir and Baroque Orchestra recorded and performed the whole of MESSIAH with over 3,600 singers in the worldwide online choir. Now we are doing it all over again to record and perform a new vocal production on 31st May 2021, a day we now call HALLELUJAH DAY.

Using our own existing orchestration and international soloists, you will enjoy sectional rehearsals recorded by Ben England BEM as well as new LIVE sessions, when Ben will take us through what we have learned so that we are ready to record the entire work with our Baroque Orchestra and soloists.

We shall learn MESSIAH in the 3 parts:

PART ONE will be taught over 2 weeks
PART TWO will be taught over 2 weeks
PART THREE will be taught in 1 week

PART ONE, TWO and THREE
FULL CHOIR sing through of all the choruses with Ben England.

Then each day a YouTube Premiere of last year’s rehearsals with Ben England for one hour and separately when will teach the same movements in new sessions:

To assist you with your learning, we are including the recording of the 31st May 2020 SIC performance of Messiah as part of the course for your to download and keep. This has not been available outside the choir until now.

In addition, we share with you the recording of the Baroque Orchestra ONLY with no singing. As our MESSIAH was all recorded in isolation we can share the music-only version with you. This may be the first time you have heard MESSIAH with orchestra only and no singing!

These will be given to you in digital form as part of the course, which you can listen to online at anytime.
