Our Upcoming Choral Programme
Summer School 2026: June - July (Tippett & Elgar)
Join us from Monday 1 June 2026 for the first of two Summer School courses to learn, sing and record six beautiful works: five spirituals from Tippett’s A Child of Our Time - Steal Away, Nobody Knows The Trouble I See, Go Down, Moses, O By And By, and Deep River -and Elgar’s Lux Aeterna, the choral arrangement of his famous Nimrod.
Our marvellous Musical Director Ben England will guide you through these moving and powerful pieces using our exclusive, innovative tools and teaching techniques. Whether you are a seasoned singer or exploring choral music for the first time, we would love you to sing with us this summer.
Summer School 2026: July - August (African Arrangements)
Join us in late July/August 2026 for the second of our two Summer School courses, as we learn, sing and record Michael Barrett’s arrangement of Ndikhokhele Bawo alongside other vibrant African choral pieces. Please note the dates and final programme for this course are TBC.

Summer School 2025 - June: Songs of Strength and Power
Join the global singers of Choir of the Earth from Monday 2 June 2025 for the second of this year’s two popular Summer School courses. Led by the brilliant Ben England, we will learn, sing and record two inspirational songs of strength: (Something Inside) So Strong and I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel To Be Free. Both pieces are deeply connected to the fight for justice, dignity and equality. We hope you will join us in celebrating the power of music to carry truth, strength and hope.
Summer School 2025 - May: Pieces by Eric Wetherell
Join the global singers of Choir of the Earth from Tuesday 6 May 2025 for the first of this year’s two popular Summer School courses. We will learn, sing and record two very special pieces by Eric Wetherell with our marvellous Musical Director, Ben England, using our top teaching resources.
Summer School 2024: Grieg, Chilcott and Evensong in Finland | June/July/August 2024
Our Summer School in 2024 was one of our most diverse ever, with our Marvellous Musical Director Ben England leading us through a variety of treats including stunning music from Edvard Grieg and others in June; Bob Chilcott in July; and a grand Finnish in August with our Evensong collaboration live from Espoo near Helsinki.
While we make every effort to deliver our courses as listed, occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may require changes to the programme.
